I had a nice run of solo gigs last summer and fall including the Tijeras Arts Market and the singer/songwriter stage at the Albuquerque Folk Festival. It always takes me a while to get back to my own songs and playing solo, but it’s worth it to keep them in mind. I’ll be playing again solo in May at Corrales Growers’ Market and the ABQ Sunport (see calendar.)
Sorry to say that I had to cancel these gigs because I found out I had an urgent health problem that couldn’t be ignored. I got back to solo gigs playing a set at Front Porch Radio in Winfield the morning after the micro-burst associated with a tornado that hit 5 miles away. That performance is on the front page of the site. Also played a set at a benefit for Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless organized by Mancle Anderson and me.
My plans for the winter are to play at jams, play with the Adbe Brothers, the Fiasco Brothers, and Cheap Shots, as I also record another CD.
